GonzoCast Vol1 – Gonzo Digs Funk

I believe I haven’t purchased a CD in over 4 or 5 years, but recently I’ve taken to digging for old records. This is a little thing I recorded last week using exclusively some of the 7″ (45 RPM EP singles) records I’ve been gathering from various yard sales / flea markets / record conventions.

Usually I’ll buy records based on the artist, track name, year of production, or label, but only if I manage to recognize any of these four criteria. But sometimes I’ll get a record just because the cover looks promising (I’ve been dissapointed, so I put records with cool covers but crappy music in the “for scratching” bin).

I’ll usually pay no more than 3 euros for a record, and when sellers don’t want to bargain even though I’m willing to buy many records or even though some of them may be damaged, I leave them.
